  • Flower Shape:
    • Cuplike.
  • Flower Color:
    • The inner petals are orange, deepening with time. The outer petals are an apricot color changing to a deep pinkish orange by the third day.
  • Flower Size:
    • 4 - 5 inches
  • Leaf Shape:
    • The leaves are oval, and have an open sinus. The lobes are rounded near the tips.
  • Leaf Coloration:
    • Usually green though somewhat variable. The new leaves are olive green and speckled. The larger leaves from an established plant are generally a deep green with large and small purple blotches.
  • Leaf Size:
    • 6 - 7 inches
  • Leaf Spread:
    • 3 - 4 feet



      This is a very free flowering, changeable, hardy, waterlily that does well in small to meduim watergardens, as well as tub gardens. This is a hard to find waterlily, most of the large commercial watergardens will sell a Sioux, or Chrysantha in its place, as they are similar. Make sure you get the real thing!
