IHL Nymphaea 'Chromatella'

One of the all-time favorites among hardy lilies. Nicely variegated leaves spread to 5 or 6 feet, and are lovely foils to the richly toned, canary yellow flowers, many of which have a light pink blush at the base of the petals. While it prefers full sun, Chromatella is considered to be among the more shade-tolerant of hardies. USDA ZONES 3-11.

Among the most popular varieties, Chromatella is one of the most forgiving of lilies. Will grow in shade or sun and look equally good. The flower color is rich, creamy canary yellow with a light pink blush at the bottoms of the sepals. The leaves are olive - green with bronze markings. This lily does best in two or more feet of water, and survives harsh winters. USDA ZONES 3-11.

THis Lilly looks like the picture. Within a month after planting it has been putting out one or two blooms regularly.
