IBP Dwarf Cyperus - Cyperus alternifolius var. Gracilis

Also known as Sparkler Grass. A dwarf version of Cyperus alternifolius. Grows up to 2 feet, leaf whorls are 4 to 6 inches in diameter. An excellent choice for a small or shaded watergarden. In the pond it can be planted directly into "pockets" of gravel. (4-6" of water). You could also grow it in shallow trays or 10" pots to achieve a fuller or mass effect.*****Restrictions: Sorry, but we can't ship this item to Rhode Island. *****

Hi. I have ordered from your store a few times. I have generally received nice material with generous portions. I think that you could improve the store by working on customer service and your shipping protocol. Watch out for shipping conditions too. I received one or two boxes that had cooked plants inside. Shipping from your location in California might be rather hot sometimes.

Fast lush growth

I put this in a pot submerged next to the waterfall of my very small pond. It has grown 2 feet tall and as wide in just three months. My only concern is that the roots are popping out wherever they can and I'm wondering if it might be too aggressive for my little pond. It's lovely though... my husband likes it more than any other plant.
